Rich Janvier “El Gringo“TM “Lord Posh Scouse of the Wirral“TM
Rich goes by many names, most of them unprintable, but often responds to Rich, Richard, Ricardo or Scouse (A nickname from university that was lengthened when his friends visited for the weekend and realised I don’t live in Liverpool!) Self styled “El Gringo” for his refusal to be labelled and the desire to follow his own path.
When not at Salsa, Rich enjoys listening to a variety of music especially Indie Rock, Jazz and Old School Hip-Hop. He has recently found a love of “Mash-Ups”, especially Rock music mixed with Latin Beats. He also has a passion for movies and can often be found at the cinema or watching a DVD. Please don’t ask him about Titanic or Lost in Translation – they make him angry!
Rich has helped out at several danceWirral & Fotografy events, often manning the computer to upload photographs and ensuring that Slideshows are running smoothly, he also helps to run the door during classes.
Rich is the founder member of the “I don’t know what I’m doing corner”TM in the Improvers class on Thursday nights (please see Rich for membership)*
